A smart ring has to do more than look right in a controlled demonstration. It needs to keep working through the moments that make up a real day: changing temperatures, water exposure, movement, charging, sleep, and long stretches when your phone stays out of sight.

That is why validation happens in rounds. Samples are built, tested, inspected, refined, and tested again—so decisions are based on how the complete experience behaves, not only on how the product appears.

Temperature changes

Sample rings are evaluated in controlled hot and cold conditions. Afterward, appearance, sealing, and core operation are reviewed again after the samples return to normal conditions.

Water and humidity exposure

Controlled humidity and water-related checks help the team evaluate sealing and essential operation after exposure—not only how the ring looks during the test.

Drops and repeated impact

Direct drops and repeated tumbling can reveal different weaknesses. The housing, finish, seal, and essential functions are reviewed after each type of stress.

Sweat and everyday substances

Selected samples meet perspiration and other common substances during validation work so the finish can be inspected for visible change over time.

Controlled corrosion-related exposure helps reveal how surface finishes respond to demanding environments and whether visible oxidation appears.

These checks help turn development samples into a product ready for consistent everyday use.

Are the rings shown here the final production rings?
They are current development samples. Their purpose is to help confirm function, finish, durability, and the complete experience before production expands.
Why are there several different testing rounds?
One condition cannot reveal every kind of issue. Temperature, humidity, repeated impact, surface exposure, charging, and system behavior each answer a different question. Repeating validation after refinements helps the team evaluate the product as it evolves.
Are you testing only the ring’s durability?
No. Reliability is one part of readiness. The ring, charger, connection behavior, firmware, and the complete user experience also need to work together.
What happens after these checks?
Findings are reviewed, refinements are made where needed, and the product moves through the next validation and production-readiness decisions. We will continue sharing meaningful milestones as they are confirmed.
